French Way from Sarria in short stages

The French Way is the best known route among the different historical routes that reach Santiago de Compostela (the Portuguese Way, the English Way, the Northen Way, the Primitive Way, the Via de la Plata Way...)

Enjoy our nine-day proposal and walk the last 100km of the French Way in a calm and relaxed way starting from Sarria, and staying in rural tourism houses in rooms with private bathroom and with breakfast and dinner included.

Day 1: Arrival on your own to Sarria.

Day 2: 1st Stage "Sarria - Morgade" (12 Km).

Dinner and accommodation in a rural house in the area of Morgade

Day 3 : 2nd Stage  "Morgade - Portomarin" (10 Km).

Dinner and accommodation in a rural house in the area of Portomarin.

Day 4: 3rd Stage "Portomarin - Ventas de Narón" (13 Km).

Dinner and accommodation in a rural house in the area of Ventas de Narón.

Day 5: 4th Stage “Ventas de Narón – Palas de Rei” (13 km).

Dinner and accommodation in a rural house in the area of Palas de Rei.

Day 6: 5th Stage "Palas de Rei – Melide" (14 Km).

Dinner and accommodation in a rural house in the area of Melide.

Day 7: 6th Stage “Melide – Arzúa” (14 km)

Dinner and accommodation in a rural house in the area of  Arzúa.

Day 8: 7th Stage "Arzúa - O Empalme" (15 Km).

Dinner and accommodation in a rural house in the area of O Empalme.

Day 9: 8th Stage "O Empalme - Lavacolla" (12 Km).

Day 10: 9th Stage “Lavacolla – Santiago de Compostela” (10 km)

  • We can't guarantee that the rural toursim houses will offer double rooms with separate beds. 
  • Reservation requests must be made at least 14 days before the start of the pilgrimage.
