French Way from Sarria in hotels/guest houses
The Camino Francés, or the French Way, is the most well-known route among the various historical paths that lead to Santiago de Compostela. It was recognized by the Council of Europe in 1987 as the "First European Cultural Route" and distinguished by UNESCO in 1993 as a "World Heritage Site." In 2004, it was awarded the Prince of Asturias Award for Concord.
Sarria is undoubtedly the most chosen starting point by pilgrims, perhaps because it is a route without major complications and offers all the necessary services.
This section of the Camino Francés, from which you will walk the last 100km, originates in French territory, hence its name, and enters Galicia through an ascending path that reaches its highest point at O Cebreiro.
Throughout the Galician route, you will be able to enjoy the hospitality of the people, a rich and varied gastronomy, significant artistic heritage, and, in general, a welcoming country ready to receive travelers.
Furthermore, upon your arrival, if you wish, you can request the Compostela.
What is included?

- 1 night of accommodation in a hotel in Santiago de Compostela with bed and breakfast.
- Luggage transfer during the stages: 1 bag per person (maximum 15kg/bag).

Itinerary
Bed and breakfast accommodation in a hotel or guesthouse in Sarria.
After breakfast, you will begin your pilgrimage. Before starting the descent towards the Miño River, you will pass through towns such as Domiz, Lavandeira, A Brea, Morgade, A Parrocha, or Vilachá. Afterwards, you will arrive at your first destination, Portomarín. Dinner and breakfast will be provided at a hotel or guesthouse in Portomarín.

Reservation requests must be made at least 14 days in advance of the pilgrimage start date.

- Private transfers to the starting point of the Camino.
